Detailed content

IC3645LXCD1TT

The IC3645LXCD1TT always provides true position, whereas incremental sensors must be repositioned after each power failure. Outputting true position through power cycling makes the LVDT ideal for long-term measurement applications such as structural monitoring or critical measurement applications such as safety valves, where erroneous readings due to power loss can be costly. It also allows the LVDT to be periodically woken up for accurate measurements and then put back to sleep when power budgets are critical. 4-20mA position sensors offer the frictionless operation and superior performance associated with LVDT technology, providing high resolution, standard 0.25% and optional 0.1% maximum non-linearity. These DC-operated linear position sensors are constructed of TIG-welded stainless steel for operation in harsh environments, while loop wiring connects to an instrument remotely placed in a benign location. The hermetically-sealed version of the 4-20 mA LVDT is capable of withstanding dust, water, steam, and other harsh elements.

The IC3645LXCD1TT provides network access via off-the-shelf MODBUS protocol. It can be easily integrated into new or existing PLC, SCADA, or DCS systems.Phoenix Contact has also added multi-master functionality to the 900 MHz TWE radio family. This feature creates redundancy and wireless failover connectivity if the master or host radio becomes inaccessible. The new multi-master functionality and bus radios make the 900 MHz TWE radios ideal for a variety of industrial applications such as tank level, pressure and temperature monitoring, pump status and control, and SCADA system expansion. Allows I/O modules to be connected directly to the radio. The radio allows users to collect I/O without the need for a remote PLC or I/O data concentrator.
