The IC754VSI12CTD is a point-to-point network designed to provide high-speed integration of AC and DC drives with remote I/O, with or without a supervisory PLC. High-speed network communications enable precise and repeatable control of complex machines and production lines. Creates a reliable network with high noise immunity. 890xx drives must have firmware version 3.13+ installed. Drives can be flashed to the latest firmware version using Parker Drive System Explorer (DSE) software.Parker has qualified third-party remote fieldbus I/O modules for use with LINKnet systems. This provides users with a variety of standard modules to choose from. Digital, analog, and specialty modules can be combined, up to 64 I/O modules per remote coupler. These modules will be recognized and supported by Parker’s DSE software.

The IC754VSI12CTD has a very high 409,600 steps per revolution (4,096 microsteps per step) for extremely smooth and quiet operation. The integrated PLC features 8 I/Os, RS-422 and RS485 connections for encoders, and point-to-point or multi-axis operation for up to 254 axes. 12-80 VDC power supply provides high torque at high speeds (0-9 A RMS (12.6 A peak), control 12 to 28 VDC maintains position values in emergencies, and as a standard for transducer signals, 4-20 mA current). Less sensitive to background noise and reduces the voltage drop in analog voltage signals. As a result, users can run longer cables, such as those required in subsea applications, without EMO or noise affecting the signal.
