IC690RFH008

The configuration utility provided with the IC690RFH008 uses an IED configuration file (CID) to import complex IEC 61850 data structures and then maps the IEC 61850 IED tags to Modbus TCP/IP registers. The mapped IED tag structure can be exported directly to Unity Pro for use in Quantum, Premium, and M340 projects.The IED provides GOOSE, Report Control Block, and MMS Read messages that are written to the Modbus TCP/IP server when the state changes. The gateway’s time is synchronized with Coordinated Universal Time (UTC system) through periodic update requests. The gateway is tightly integrated with the Unity Pro Series, providing automatically generated application-specific variable and function block files. IED drag-and-drop IEC 61850 data attributes allow for easy Modbus mapping, and configurations can be stored on the industrial SD card provided with the gateway for disaster recovery.

IC690RFH008 data access includes device class and object attributes to simplify and streamline HMI functionality across a customer’s entire industrial network. Access to legacy controller files (PLC5e, SLC5/05, MicroLogix, etc.) is also supported. With Socket Communications’ enhanced support for barcode, RFID, magnetic stripe reading and Bluetooth hardware, InstantHMI provides a complete and flexible application-specific solution. Several InstantHMI / Socket solution packages are now available. Connect to the controller over a wireless RF (WiFi, 802.11a/b/g, Bluetooth) or wired (Ethernet TCP/IP, serial RS232, 485, 422) link using EtherNet/IP, Modbus, OPC, or other drivers
