EPSCPE100-ABAC

The EPSCPE100-ABAC features on-board electronics that enhance the performance benefits of lithium-ion (Li-Ion) polymer battery technology, manage deep authentication network protection and enable secure Ethernet communications. The sealed NEMA4x aluminum enclosure prevents network tampering and can be used in the most challenging field installations. Onboard security microcontrollers control lithium-ion polymer batteries on a case-by-case basis, enhancing the high density, fast charging, extreme temperature tolerance, and extended life of lithium-ion technology. The UPS.500 capitalizes on all the advantages of lithium energy storage over conventional systems using lead-acid batteries, including extremely high energy density and significant improvements in size, weight and service life. the UPS.500 also recharges up to 10 times faster than conventional lead-acid battery systems.

The EPSCPE100-ABAC provides secure 10/100 Mbit Ethernet IPv4 and IPv6 communications and supports Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) embedded web server and embedded IEC 62541 – OPC Unified Architecture server. Bi-directional communication enables control, diagnostics and status reporting. More than 35 diagnostic variables can be easily and securely monitored, trended, alarmed and historically logged through SCADA, enterprise and cloud applications. The servo controller b maXX 4000 can be optionally equipped with EtherCAT Master, which enables mechanical engineers to realize modular and EtherCAT-networked machine architectures. It can be operated with the b maXX drivePLC as an option card for the b maXX 4000 drive series. etherCAT Master is configured and operated via the engineering framework ProMaster.
