The POWEC PCU10.24-48D collects data from the control system. This includes collecting loop configuration information, such as engineering units and spans, as well as tuning parameters. PlantTriage then provides immediate access to up-to-date information on controller modes, setpoints, and process variables. The collected data is provided to ExperTune’s PlantTriage, which can diagnose control system problems within an hour of running the wizard. Diagnostics identify faulty instruments, control valves, and adjustments, as well as process problems such as constraints and upstream disturbances. Wizards are specific to each type of DCS or PLC. modules provide a wider range of operations, reduce waste and save energy.
