The MR-S11-200-Z37 system is based on PLCS, Safety PLCS, Motion Control and related automation components – reducing software complexity, time to market and cost of ownership. All tools required to configure, program, commission and maintain automation projects are provided through a common intuitive interface. Modules offer increased robustness. Advanced multi-axis motion control systems are another major goal, with the module capable of controlling more than 64 axes of motion in a 1 ms cycle. Versatile communication and security capabilities are also suitable for “remote control” or SCAD monitoring and control and data acquisition applications in areas such as power system monitoring and control. The inherent robustness of the controller, the availability of ruggedized variables, and the simple method of integrating advanced safety – also make this new PLC ideally suited for today’s most difficult applications, from maintenance-free controllers in applications such as wind turbines, or remote SCAD nodes in desert or arctic regions, to safety-critical applications in equipment such as cranes, mining cranes, or automated guided vehicles.

The computational power of the MR-S11-200-Z37 module offers automation builders great flexibility with its rich feature set and versatile communication capabilities. It provides a controller that can handle any practical application, but is also highly software configurable – giving OEMs a single control platform for a wide range of applications. The module’s advanced programmable logic controller reference platform includes the kp ether cat main stack from Iskrav, PLC firmware and the qnx neutrino real-time operating system to improve the functionality, reliability and performance of control applications. Equipped with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) reference platform to facilitate the development of industrial control systems.
