The GE VMIVME2170A is ideally suited for cost-effective operator interface applications. Both areas are designed for use in harsh industrial environments. This powerful family of graphic panels connects to PLCS, RTS and other intelligent instruments to provide state-of-the-art local operator interfaces or more commonly known as Human Machine Interfaces (HMI). The Easy View series has the fastest RIC processor used in any HMI touch panel on the market, ensuring that even the most complex graphics can be called up in SMAP. Included with the EasyMade 500 graphics software package ensures that applications can be easily built and tested before being downloaded to the easy-to-view HMI panel. 500 Series is available in screen sizes from 4.3 to 10 inches (256 colors) with different features such as real-time clock, RS232 and RS485 ports.

The GE VMIVME2170A is available in screen sizes from 5.6 inches to 15 inches (65536 colors) with different features such as real-time clock, RS232/RS485 ports, Ethernet ports, USB ports, sound output, and a compact flash card slot. All high-resolution, high-definition color displays feature a high-resolution touch screen interface and IP65 front protection. Superior clarity and longevity. Featuring a high-resolution analog resistive touchscreen that allows versatile placement of interactive screen objects regardless of restricted grid placement.
