The 3503EC1 is modular and expandable, with 5 I/O slots accommodating a mix of analog inputs, open collector outputs, or relay outputs to suit a variety of applications in the power, water, and infrastructure industries. All field inputs are connected directly to the panel terminals via pre-wired cables.The 3503EC1 comes standard with one RS485 port, with the option of a second RS485 port or an Ethernet port to enhance the unit’s communication capabilities and to use it as an RTU, an alarm controller, or as a protection device for motors, transformers, etc.The 3503EC1 is configured using very user-friendly software; the unit can also be be edited from the front keypad and display. The unit has numeric and alphanumeric displays for values and labels, and alarm/trip and control status are indicated by discrete LEDs on the front panel.
